Hi there,

I'm getting excited thinking about hopefully coming over to New Zealand this year. What I was wanting was any videos you guys have of any New Zealand roads. Maybe some clips you have made on a tank cam or something. Just to give me a taster of what the roads are like out your way. I had a look around but could see anything obvious. Are there any for download?

Welcome to KB. :spudwave: I'm sure someone out there will have some videos for you. We have some pretty good roads over here for motorcycling, and some pretty fantastic scenery. You will have a ball riding around New Zealand. Just one tip - don't let the size of our country deceive you into thinking you can do a quick tour.
When do you think you might come over?

I've heard a few people say that Scotland has some resemblance to NZ.. So just think of some of the best twisties in the world, then come over ;)

No video clips, sorry. The whole country is covered by copyright so you have to come & take your own. For your own use of course. Not for general distribution or public screening. See you soon. :done:

i would if i could figure out how to black out the licence plates.......not real keen on showing the world how i ride on public roads.....

Good roads and somewhat nice peaple. This from an ex-american who just got here in june last year. Trust me mate its worth the move and is lots of fun to ride around.

and there's another twistie sign west of ruapehu that says '65K'



you've just got to look out for the really small caravans :)

When do you think you might come over?
At the moment I can only guess it will be somewhere around September-October. I'm planning on coming over for a year to see how it is. If I like it then I'll be looking to stay permanently. Assuming I can get a job that is.

Oh yeah, sorry that's me not giving you a chance to edit your post. :) Nice bike. Same as what I have, except mine is silver. Looking for something like a new green ZX6R when I get over though. Or maybe that new R6 in black. That's :cool: !

I did a 3 minute video clip on the biking community for my course. its 32 odd megs if you want it ill try and find a way to compress it etc etc. its got wellingtons greatest road - the rimutakas - in about 30 seconds.
Oh and its also got Whitetrash doing a wheelie.
Its not great but it shows something.
