ok
next week i'm gonna chop off my hair.
i would really like to give it to someone that is dealing with cancer.
does anyone know who to contact,or someone suffering that i can donate it too?
i have a full head, 6-8" of brown to ginga coloured hair to give,tis in good condition.
any idea's?

Wouldn't you have to get in touch with a proper organisation that does this stuff and puts it in wigs? I'm pretty sure they have to chop it themselves to make sure it's done legit, and then they sort the rest out themselves. I don't think they accept hair you would just rock up with in a back pack haha. But hey, if you can make it a wig yourself, do it and go find some cancer patient

if ya ring a local wig maker, not sure if you have any in your local area or not though. They had one in dunners, sold my hair to them, they need at least 13 inches to make it worthwhile and they prefer to cut it themselves. Depending how thick ya hair is would be how much its worth. It goes by weight, thicker = heavier.

ask your hairdresser .. they should know .. in the meantime get them to cut the bulk once it is in a pony tail to keep it together and ready to donant.
