(on behalf of) My girlfriend just bought a 2009 cbr125r, its so quiet u can barely tell its running (only 82 decibels factory), it looks cool but she wants an aftermarket pipe to make some noise. Any ideas where we should be looking/phoning to get an aftermarket pipe? (we are in christchurch) Also is it worth replacing the exhaust all the way to the head and getting a better air filter in search of a wee bit more pep? I assume being fuel injected, decreasing restriction to the "breathing" of the bike will increase power without having to tune it like a carberetted bike...

Scorpion do one, HA85...
try your dealer where you brought the bike from or we can ship it down.
You will probaly need to have it tuned as it can do all sorts of odd things, put a K&N type filter in it too as that should help.

Cheers man that was helpful, it sounds like these cbrs are heavily restricted from factory so "yay" increase of 3-4 horsepower!!! from an exhaust. Ill ask Hampton Honda (where we bought it from) if they can order a micron or somthing for us, along with a K&N filter. WOM WOM:scooter:

Ummm... do you know any women riders? I suspect wanting the best out of your bike may be one of those non-gender-specific things that has more to do with being a 'BIKER' than being a 'SHE'.

That was pretty cool. Its not everyday that I see performance parts for a 125.

(Plus it gave me the chance to work out that you could fit 13.12 125 engines into one of mine - which impressed SWMBO):headbang:
