the last few weeks i have been out of control.

spending all my free time looking at bikes for sale.
looking at how much money i can borrow.
staying up late on the net reading bike reviews.

there is no balance in my life, i feel like i need therapy. i have been so obsessed i have reached the stage that i feel over it, but im not.
my head is a dangerous part of town.

i hope that the old BMW i am driving 400 odd K to see this weekend turns me on enough to buy it, just so i can get obsessed with something else for a while.

until i need a third bike.

one is never enough!

is this common among KB members, or am i losing my grip on sanity?

hang on, i lost my grip on sanity long ago. forget that bit.

While explaining such things to friends they came up with the conclusion that I shall pass down to you: Get a girlfriend...

Like nallac said there's nothing wrong with that.
I find I'm up on trade me just drooling over bikes and actually writing down financial plans when i know i couldn't or shouldn't be buying one.I don't have my full licence (yet) but I'm always looking at bikes over 250cc even though its a while away.
But yea I'm in the same boat as you mate and I'm sure the rest of Kbers are.:msn-wink:
All the best bro

do have good pics but that would be wrong.
you would probably have to get rid of the one you have, it is not like collecting bikes.
bikes don't start pissing in corners

What I have found is that when you get the bike you want you immediately switch from looking at bikes to buy to looking at parts for the bike you have just bought :) Then after a while you start looking at other bikes you might want and the cycle continues

Perfectly normal Adam! Our garage seems strangely empty with just the 2 bikes in there now :weep:
All good...new one will be stuffed in there in the next few weeks :apint:

Warning...if you want the 'shine' to be 'lost' re bikes, get a job in a bike shop.

I need to win lotto with powerball
12 mill should be enough?

They do seem to command a large amount of your spare time (bikes that is) theres two in the garage now, I could buy another one today or tomorrow if I wanted to but the economics of it all say no!

I look alot at trademe, wouldn't mind an older/classic bike in mint condition but once again, econimics!!

Adam is not on his own and the situation doesn't go away, its all very healthy if you can hold off from clicking 'buy now'.

To be truly obsessed, economics would not even enter the frame when the right bike comes along.

i thought about getting a job in the bike industry, but i knew i would lose my passion. so i will continue to sell day's of the week labels for undies.
