Hey all,
I'm definatly going to head along to the Westpac ride this year on the KLX was just wondering how many others were taking adventure bikes along for the ride and if you guys and gals would possibly want to meet up prior to the start and ride together?
Sunday the 8th of March
Starts at 9am
NZ Bloodstock Centre Karaka, Papakura off ramp
for those of you who don't know already.

I am intending on going, was thinking I might just join up the ride somewhere a bit closer to central auckland, will defintely be on an adventure bike (possibly the KLX, or maybe its replacment).

Going for a ride somewhere after the westpac ride could suit (anything before would just be too early for me), maybe a trip out west for a rip up Murawai beach?

Yeah something afterward could work well for me too, is it possible to jump in the group anywhere along the motorway or do they close the on ramps?

This is a ride I sometimes do out that way. Mix or motorway, back roads and some Gravel along the way, then onto the beach via Rimmer road, which you can go north up the beach, or south down into Muriwai.

I'm going to jump into the group at the Hill Rd onramp if i'm able to.Pretty sure they'll be letting bikes jump on anywhere along the motorway right?
As for the ride afterward I'm keen for anything as long as i'm home by about 4pm.A burn down Muriwai on me road tyres sounds like a lot of wheel spin and a whole heap of fun :headbang:

Righto. I'm making it to the charity ride in the morning, but work is demanding the afternoon. It's a hungry beast, and I must feed it...

Bugger eh, will be sure to have a great time without you, and take plenty of photos and upload them so you can skive off work and have a peek.

Looks like we may have a 100% bail on this one.

Not looking likely I will have a bike for the weekend.
Weather looks like it may be shite anyway.
