Aww come on, I know for a fact I'm a better parallel parker than my hubby, AND I can turn the stereo WHILE I drive!!!
That was funny though, especially the little green car parking and the fella who gets sick of waiting!! I've noticed so many people with little cars that can't park them, geezus that thing is so small and the gap is huge!!!

I'm guessing women who ride bikes are much better at driving cars than their female counterparts who don't ride bikes. Mrs. B who rides can parallel park extremely well (if I have to admit... better than me!).

I've noticed plenty that drive BIG ones, that can't park them. Watch the antics of some in any supermarket carpark, any day of the week...

That one was especially classic. I have wanted to do the same thing to men I've watched trying to back trailers sometimes

Yes, quite true unfortunately, but we can also apply that to blokes. It's like, "If you can't park it, don't drive it!" You should see me parallel park a 4WD double cab ute using only my mirrors ;) :bleh:

My bad - I fell into the trap of assuming that all drivers in supermarket carparks were female  And there were no bullbars on any of the utes I've driven :bleh:

I have wanted to do the same thing to men I've watched trying to back trailers sometimes

Backing with a trailer is the fastest way to loose your self-esteem as a man I think. If you haven't got any significant experience with the little fuckers it's bloody hard... but there's still an expectation from everyone that of course you can back it up no worries.

Some of the stuff that the truckies pull off with articulated trailers and multi-link roadtrains is just amazing. My uncle used to be a farmer - he'd reverse with a train consisting of a tractor, a hay baler and a hay rack.

Yep, it's just one of those things that men are expected to be able to do  Refuse transfer stations are always good for a laugh!

My mum taught me to back a trailer - when we used to put the boat in down at the boat ramp she would back it down whilst Dad took it off the trailer. Any blokes standing nearby would give each other the elbow and stand watching with arms folded, no doubt thinking: this should be good. They were always disappointed as she sent that trailer flying down the ramp at warp speed

And the littler they are, they harder they are too! My old trailer had a piddly-arse drawbar on it and was very twitchy. I'm not perfect, but I can usually get it where I want it eventually.

Those truckies certainly are amazing  I could watch them for ages.

Try backing a trailer using just the mirrors.... having a heavy trailer licence... with plenty of time spent towing those... helps...
A sunny sunday arvo at any boat launching ramp is always entertainment...
