This is a big event at the TSB Arena and some is open to the public.
The thunder ride departs from the TSB Arena at 11.30am. I don't know where it is going but suspect it will be around the Haywards loop.
All the following at Frank Kitts park and herefore open to public
12.30 - 1.00 - silly games
1-1.30 trials bike demo (probably the young fellow HOG Wgtn support who is in worldclass and competes internationally)
2-5 Bikes on show
2.3 - 4.30 bike sprints (I think along Jervois quay)
Can any one add more detail?

The trick riding was worth going to see. Whoever the rider was he is as good or better than any in the many videos viewed. Great to see a sporty doing what others use a speedtriple for.

i was amoung the riders... it was one of the biggest group rides i have been in...
i entred the drag racing also.. but the buell's front wheel kept on wanting to keep off the ground...
then the brakeing distance.... was a little.. tight, don't think the organisers thought that we would go that fast... back wheel in the air trying to scrub off speed...
lost 3 and won 3... so that was cool...
had a great time!!!
thanks to loin nathan...

Hey it was a great ride, couldn't hear the sound of my own ole girl. Made sure to wave as often as I could, without hittin the bike in front or being a pain to the guy behind, and i aint no pillion. Seems the father in law got a kick out of seeing us on the TV:clap:

After years of waving at Harley riders I found the way to get them to wave back !
Pull out a video carmera and stand on the side of the road
Impressive sight though , continuous motorcyles for almost 10 minutes
Ajturbo , what colour is your bike , I've probably got you on film. I was standing on the side of the road near the Porirua Police college

I took a few / plus movies on the little 3mp camera... I'll load them up at some point.
I was standing on the J'ville flyover. Was a great sight (and great sound) with lots of waving. A little windy, but a great day for a ride.
