Laaaaaader zx9r, commuting on it was like doing a milk run in a v8, just didn't do it justice, so I let it loose :spudwave:

Bit of shopping round, I test rode a rf400 - nearly brought for the daily commute to the plane-station :spudwhat: , but then test rode a vfr400 :yeah: Didn't take rocket science for me to tell the dealer to (sorry WT) get that suzuki piece of shit out of here :shake:

So I was in before I know it signing the blue papers, and an nc30 is mine

That's fine, coz you'd have to be pushing it to make it any slower....

Yeh, I'll have to pass on that, thanks for bringing it round though. I sent you a PM :2thumbsup
I was tempted by the v4 as I haven't owned one yet - I'll probably end up hoeing through all bike brands / makes just for fun. Does that make me a bike-slut? :spudwhat: :yeah:

Nah - I checked out that one thou. I got it from a shop over the shore. The guys out there were pretty helpful - they make it so easy to hand over several 000 at a time :spudbooge
Now i'll probably pull the front end apart, and give it a little make-over :2thumbsup

Nice one Matt!! :niceone:

Though it is a little sad to see another Kawasaki rider switch to a honda. Eh Kwaka-kid? (you should change your user name to NC30-kid dude)

Gaaaack!! I just searched Bikepoint - you bought it from the Shark Brothers! They ripped me off too, Dude! :brick:

'Helpful'??!? They're helpful in the same way a shark is when he helps himself to your right leg for breakfast!

Mmm - soon find out I guess.
I got bent over by a dealer up north (Rodney Motorcycles) after they sold me a zx9 with a fucked head gasket, but that doesn't make a Kawasaki a shit bike- it makes me a dumass for not getting it checked out. Didn't matter too much, cos I run them through court and fucked them in the ass back good and proper - to say the least.

Anyways congrats on the NC30, must be the most popular bike on this site by now...

Mebbe not.

The bike is probably a goodun. Mine is, but the Shark Bros left me with a sour taste in my mouth, and a strong desire to never, ever spend a single cent in their shark tank again, even if it means riding to Hamilton or summat to get Honda-related stuff done.

Good customer service, eh? Make trying to make as many shekels as possible your driving force, at the cost of pissing people off and losing them as customers. :niceone:

Fair enough - I'll let time be the decider on that.

If no one went back to any shop that any person had a bad experience with.......

:spudwhat:

...... we'd all be walking.

And that would suck.
Appreciate the heads up though. :niceone:

Or....
They'd get the message and do summat about being so farking mercenary.
At least you've got a good bike; you may well have paid too much for it, but you were happy to do so, so that's irrelevant.
But they can't go, "BendOverBecauseHereItComesAgain!" to me (again), because I've learned my lesson. :yeah:

I'd rather have the money, though....

Sounds like you got fisted - I think I remember reading a big heart to heart " i'm giving up motorcycling " story on here a while back. Was that you?

Nice Matt, that ZX9 was a bit of a lemon, good to see you flicked it. The VFR looks pretty sweet (for a honda n all ya know).
You best start getting bloody fast on that thing, as i don't wanna ride by myself :Pokey: .
Swing by work sometime next weekend.

Burnout = Free Pizza (or 2) :niceone:

The son of a friend of mine had one of those, it's for sale I think. One of the all time nicest looking bikes to my mind. And they go quite well too :-)

I thought I was the only one. However, when I needed someone write up an insurance valuation, they gave me a jacked up price no problems. Whoops, that's their normal price !

cool bike, looks like a minter from the photo.
just keep an eye on the ignition, ie stada, coils and reg/rec cause they seem to eat them.
might be a good idea to ask the dealer if they know when it was last replaced.
look foward to seeing it out and about
