Solid season for this years nationals, went faster than last - but not as fast as some !

Great to see new blood and new bike building ideas coming into F3 - which will keep lifting the standard ever higher and keep the "Formula concept" alive and well.

My thanks to my cornerstone supporters: Wife Julie, Warren Bridger, Steve Pearse, Gary Hosking, Griffith Engineering, Suzuki NZ, Dunlop Tyres, Redpath Greenhouses, AGV sports, Billys fairings/paint, and Procycles.

Had some very close races and some not so close ones this year, Also had some ups n downs with officialdom which is all part of the game !

To my main competitors: Terry Fitzgerald, Jason Easton, Glen Skatchill, Jason Nairn - Its been a pleasure to race against you guys & may you all have better luck next year. I have already heard rumours of some new fast blood and bikes arriving in the class too - so should be a good year in 2010.

Look forward to having to lift the bar higher next year :-)

Like wise - I heard a rumour bout this old fella that has won this class previously was planning on returning. Time will tell I guess.

They say the best riders make it look easy and that pretty much describes you on and off track. I've no doubt you were balls to the wall both with prepping the bike and riding the thing but all we saw was smooth speed and a consistently quick machine that hardly missed a beat.

Great effort mate, you are setting the standard.

Re: 2009 NZ Formula three road race championship final result

Terry Fitzgerald and Glen Williams are pleased to advise that we have successfully appealed to the governing body (MNZ), against a claimed infringement of machine specification when competing at round four of the 2009 NZ road race championship.

The appeal was upheld and the original decision overturned on both counts of "The Technical aspect" and also "The infringement" . All lost championship points were reinstated and no penalty exists.

Terry and Glen would like to thank all of their supporters and expert witnesses that assisted in making this a successful appeal and also thank MNZ for conducting a fair and constructive enquiry into this matter.

We look forward to moving onto next years championship with a clear conscience and a newly invigorated commitment !

Regards

Glen Williams / Terry Fitzgerald

Hey Shaun, how are those aussies treating you.........
As for the SVR "RRRRR" , the locals in some parts seem to be running a competition when looking her over called "spot the Suzuki part" :-)

Well done Glen and Terry,I would think a huge percentage of all roadracers would have known you would not be involved in any underhanded tactics. But its good too see your integrity has been upheld by MNZ.
