This suit did a really great job keeping me dry and giving me a bit of wind protection.
On Wednesday I had to ride through some cold southerly rain for a couple of hours in South Canterbury and North Otago (4 degrees) I stopped on the roadside before I hit the rain and retrieved the suit from under my pillion seat. It folds up into a pouch and fits nicely under here, which is a handy feature.
I found it easy to get into without needing extra help! I wear a dainese 2 piece leather suit and the rainsuit fit over it nicely. The zip runs from knee to neck diagonally and did up easily. There is a generous overlap of material here that seals with velcro and I had no rain get in.
There are adjustments on the lower leg, upper arm, cuff, (all velcro), and a belt to fit the suit to your body. Again these worked easily and I had no trouble with flapping on the open road. There are elasticated loops at the end of the arms, which fit over your gloves, to keep the sleeve in place. I actually tucked the sleeves in to my gloves instead. I was on the highway and no rain ran down my arms into my gloves at that speed on my gsx-r.
When I reached home after about 2 hours, my leathers were dry and I was very pleased with this suit. It cost $99.00 on sale in October.
My boots deserve mention as well: Daytona GTX waterproof. Again, feet were 100% dry and warm. Fantastic performance from both and I would recommend them.
