universal seat covers ???? looking at a gripper cover to try save some energy holding on has any one tryed a universal one wondering how well they fit

yeah got one, it fits sweet as. Definitely grippery than standard, but did see a ktm with knobbly bits sticking out that would be even more so. Article i read said keep the old cover on, does make it easy. And use a good staple gun

I had one on my old bike, was great but I couldn't get it quite right on my own, took it to an upholsterers to do instead (worth the $30 or $40 I paid for the grief saved). Wil def be putting one on the new bike.

i have a one industries one, its good, and its on top of the old seat cover. has a couple of nicks in it now, but you cant really tell because the old cover underneath hides it

You can use a plain bit of gripper material. I ordered it from some place that reckless told me about. Definately leave the old seat cover underneath.

as well as Over The Top Adventures - I have a Canvas and upholstery business I can help with gripper vinyl - coloured vinyl- sewing- foam repairs, just ask!
The gripper vinyl I use is the best Ive seen anywhere. better than standard KTM and honda or yamaha gripper material.

Can you get oversized ones for when you've recovered 5 or 6 times. All the existing covers would be making the seat a little bigger by then.:yes:
