Last week I bought an LED replacement bulb for the tail light on my motard - thinking that the LEDs would handle the vibrations better. After the weekend the LED bulb was dead and I was a tad disappointed.
So yesterday I went and had a chat to the bloke who sold me the bulb and told him it had lasted me less than 300 kms. I didn't have the receipt with me, but it was the same guy who sold it to me.
Here's what he did:
Gave me my money back no questions asked.
Looked up a similar, but higher grade, product in a competitors catalogue.
Wrote down the part number and gave it to me.
Sent me across the street to the competitor.
What a good bastard! No doubt I'll be going to Butler's Auto Mart in Sydenham Chch again.
