Hey guys
I just got a letter from VTNZ saying my WOF is due on a bike that I lavishly wrote off around 15 months ago, I looked it up on carjam.co.nz and it seems that someone must've bought it from an auction and spent a year fixing the old boy up and then gotten a warrant for it, in Nov 2008, would this mean the current owner (in Tuakau) never bothered to change the address? Or just a simple mistake on VTNZ's behalf, it was from VTNZ Pukekohe, where it was previous WOF'd in Nov '08, so one would assume the WOF reminder would go to the new owner.
Kinda miffed if it is still under my address, I'm not sure if I would, but I don't want to be fitted with a speeding ticket if one was ever taken!
Any ideas how to correct this, or get in touch with the current owner to let him know? (carjam.co.nz gave me his name and town, but that's all, no contact phone number.)
Cheers guys
