Can anyone tell me please how to use a quote as my signature. I tried pasting the code for the quote but I received the message BB code quote is not allowed. Can someone please tell me how to do it - bear in mind I'm computer illiterate:doh:

You need to edit the x-lc code substituting the obvious click and paste objects with the quote attributes. Should be easy from there.

1. Click Quote on the post that you want to uh... quote.
2. Copy said quote
3. Click User CP
4. Head to Signature
5. Paste
6. Enter
7. Send me 80 Beers. I said Eighty.

Serious answer - You may not be able to do some things if you are not a senior member. Have a search in the site stuff section using "Senior Member".

Renegade master can do it because he's a senior member (that's spanish for Mr Tool)

Go to the page where you edit your signature, look at the bottom where it says "Signature Permissions".

Check your permissions.

This is related to the error you got "BB code quote is not allowed".

Usarka is probably right about needing to be a senior member or something.

...so for now, just put in the text of the quote, but remove the codes (the bits with the brackets [...]).

Ok, thanks for that. Am thinking it must be a senior member thing too.
