View Full Version : HELP please for track day

FROSTY

Ok the track day is falling into place BUT I still need help
Im short on marshalls /track controllers.
Comeon you lot -who's keen to be there but not too keen on actually circulating?
You get the best seat in the house to watch the guys going past. For marshals itll be like the whanganuui races cos you'll be very close to the action.
You will get two track sessions free of charge.
Lunch (whatever that ends up being) will be free of charge.
Potential marshalls maybee put off by the multitude of flags etc Dont worry.
You will only have one flag -and your only expected job will be to wave the flag if ya see anyone crash/run off the track. I dont expect ya to pick up bikes or anything like that.

I hope like heck I dont need it cos its generally only spilled when someone crashes.

:spudwave: You might have it already sorted by now but Ian who runs the track should be able to supply brooms and flags - he did for us. Maybe some of the other stuff as well so you don't have to take everything down - hope that helps. Your doing a great job. :niceone:

haven't you checked/asked already? I thought they could have supplied things, but assumed you had asked..

and as for the cement, if you do bin it (no one is..), then with what's left, you can build a wall and do this :brick:

as for the cement on the back, dems' fightin words matie.. The only reason I can think of it being a benefit to put cement on yer bike, is to make it sink faster. yer goin down

I can loan a BBQ and gas etc, but I've no way of getting it down.
It would take to room of a bike in someones van or whatever if they want to take it.
Otherwise, I can bring a cylinder, if somebody can bring a BBQ.
Failing on all of the above, I've got a wee camp stove and a frying pan.
Place your order now!

Careful about the Cola thing - despite the fact that a US cop told me he always keeps Coke in his boot for unpleasant bodily fluids I was pointed to a web site that says it's all bollox - promplty stripped of my underpants and made to shout at the top of my voice," I'm a little tea pot" etc etc.

We'll just keep the fact that it's fact between us eh?! :msn-wink:
