Righto to save on going to another thread heres he rearanged pics.

Helen of Troy rode on up the drive on her soon to be Bucket racer, a mint wee road legal FXR150.
Well 3 hours later it was a F4 bucket race ready for the track. With modified pipe, pod filter, rejeted, bars lowered and the usual lock wiring, removal of unwanted crap and numbered up it just waits some sticky tyres.
Welcome to the world that is bucket racing HOT

bars lowered

I've never really understood the FXR bar mod and after riding TonyBs bike the other weekend understand it even less, it places the bars at a funny angle (not angled down far enough) and to far backwards, personally I think they're better off in the stock position as it's far easier to toss about unless you fit a a proper clipon

While Dangerous reckons you can do a season for $20 , the reality is a bit more
entry fees winter series $240
License $125
Fuel say $10 per meet $60
Tyres cheap at $100
Repairs $100 low , do an engine $500 call it $250
Food / Transport / New helmet (only last 1 good crash) $800

Thats about $1500 + bike + Leathers
still cheap

it places the bars at a funny angle yeah I have noticed that aye, I figgered the bars were bent but HOT's is the same and it shows no sign of being droped... I can only asume its a diliberate bend that only suits the bars in the correct postition.

yeah well a single race has been knowen to cost me a 1000 bucks
