FREE SUSPENSION SETUP ADVICE WITH SHAUN HARRIS
Guys n gals this is a rare opportunity to meet a man you KNOW might just have a couple of clues about suspension Just shutting up and listening to what he says will be an education in itself let alone the chance to get your bike transformed from an evil brute back into the bike you love.

Shaun will measure up the sag settings on your bike, Shaun will then give you an educated opinion of what work you might need and what you may need or want doing, to improve your ride, and make it safer to ride.

The idea is for you to come to my car/bike yard and talk with Shaun face to face, so You can work out any work different or related to a great offer he has going and as a way for determining if you need or want any work to be done, and to confirm bookings for any work in the future .:2thumbsup:2thumbsup
Shaun will be based in the main wortkshop in the yard . Entry will be by the main back door

As an aside when you get your bike back there is an IDEAL test ride route of 15km that WILL tell you if the bike is transformed--AND its just down the road.:whistle:

Please NOTE
Car/Trailer parking is OVER THE ROAD in the carpark. -Sorry I just dont have room for a bunch of cars/trailers/vans actually in the yard. :girlfight:
.

I'll fire up the ol barby in the arvo for anyone that wants to have a Sausage or two and just generally talk some shit .

Sorry, must clarify. As far as i'm aware, YR64L still has his license. I was referring to his bike and the lack of mirrors, lights, and road legal tyres.

Then again, he's probably only one off-ramp wheelie away........

True True....
We'll come over and say gidday mate.
The CB doesn't need any work but, I would however, like to know where to set the suspension too after riding two up, I have it pretty good when the two of us are on it but, solo? damn I just cant get it quite right, the nice ex racing ledgend up this way said he would look at for me, but if Shaun has 5 mins spare (while I eat a sausage) then all good.

Pretty good turn out really....17 bikes counted at one stage, the B-B-Q was controlled by one of the youngins'. Front forks on a 750 was 1st on the agenda and then a ride out the a local beach by the tooting 750 rider who returned pretty impressed. Awesome stuff Shaun, you work like the everyready guy. There were several bikes left to look over by the time we left so bloody top effort boys!!!
Cheers FROSTY ....:niceone:

Agreed. Shaun, the GSXR feels a helluva lot better with the rear shock set harder, it was wet so I didnt get to really feel it out, but will do on the next dry day.

I got a call from him a few HOURS later as he was aproaching home Poor gremlin sounded buggered.
Pretty proud of my young fella cooking up a feed for the starving folks.
Mother nature was pretty kind to us I thought-- no rain till the arvo.

Was a great afternoon. Loads of stories and info swapping, I learned a lot from listening to Shaun discussing each riders observations and feelings, and then explaining his suggestions for bike setup, required maintenance, and possible upgrade paths.
The changes to the rear setup have made the bike feel crisper, and the front is definitely tracking better.:first:

Cheers
