You know it when it happens

Finally managed to get the kids down to SportsZone to sort a couple of helmets.

I've had a bit of a probelm with their opening hours and having the kids available at the same time

So on our fourth (or was it fifth?) attempt we finally found them with the doors open

And they could not have been more helpful

No problem to exchange the misfit helmet

No problem to try on anything the kids liked the look of

Got the sizing right and have ordered helmets in their prefered colours

Sweet As :)

Nice to see someone taking the time to post a positive comment about a dealer for a change, so often this site seems to be full of people whinging about all kinds of stuff - motorcycling is supposed to be a positive experience, thanks for the refreshing post! :)

Talking about them recently with a mate in work. He was telling me how they totally shafted him on his bike's service work (he's totally green when it comes to the mechanical side of things). I too felt overcharged for a piss poor service on my wife's first bike (GN250). Would've done it myself but for potential warranty issues. The bike's pre-delivery prep was also very shoddy (chain loose as f'k, back brake wound off so far it wouldn't work). Both easy fixes but should've been done by them, not me!

When the chrome just fell off the GN's grabrail they were quick with a replacement and they were helpful when I was trying to source a particular Arai. They also gave my wife a good discount on her bike jacket and gloves.

So, in my experience, a bit hit-and-miss. Would happily check them out for bike gear but wouldn't put a bike in their workshop.
