I need some help sanding the farings from the NC30..

I'd rather sand wood than bog, plastic or steel....how often do you want a mirror finish on wood????

and joiners dont "proper" sand... they only have 3 different grits... and one is called "coarse" or sumfin (and then there's the "emery paper" people) :shake:

we have 80,100,120,150,180,200,and 250..that i have seen oin the workshop..lol

As for a mirror finish on wood, you'd be amazed what people demand..

Dunno, but wood polishes well...
so does ya R1, but I couldn't see them using coarse grit and a belt sander when they fixed it....

and it prolly wouldn't handle that well if it was made outta table legs and a kitchen cupboard door and french polished....
might be a bit of a prick to leave outdoors for any length of time tooo :shake:

and on wood you'd never know if they had just used 80, 150 and 250.... where's the 1600 wet 'n dry? the "blocked back and hand cut"?

Awwww ya forgot the 40, 60 grits and all the higher ones than the 250.....lol
The wet-n-dry sandpaper as well....

Yep the wood has to be soooooooo sooooooo smooth....

(done a carpentry and also a furniture making course....)
Learnt a lot on the FM course......
Dove tails and all the other joints... and all done but hand....
no machines used at all.

My arms are just not long enough to reach wellytown, remember the sooner you start the sooner you finish...
Does that mean that the bike is a not so red one?
