Granted, the most likely cause is the fuel starvation to the engine but I guess what I am trying to say is that you can never be too certain ...
I am trying to find companies that freight (air or sea) motorbikes from NZ to either US of A or Turkey. I have googled around, but apart from ATF, who said that they were finding it difficult to fnd freight forwarders at the US end prepared to handle bike clearance at the US because of "hassles", I can't seem to fnd anyone else. Does anyone here have experience in dealing with (NZ ?) companies freighting bikes overseas?
Today was flagged as a ‘Dawn Ride’ whereby we were off to Riversdale to see the sunrise…Yeah Right! Good idea??!! ….but to see the sunrise one has to be there by 7’ish! (at present)....and have an uninhibited view of the horizon and sky! No problem, we pick Riversdale, we set a date and start early… and if God doesn’t want us to see a magnificent sunrise as Maui’s orb rises from the sea….who gives a toss!....we already had a great ride and we’re booked for breakfast so still have ...
This week heralded the first ‘Annual’ Apiti Scamper….although it’s not so much a scamper as a dawdle, thanks to the multitude of Harleys that wanted to partake….but that’s a good thing as this was a charity ride to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House and Motorcycle charity events are only ever successful if the Harley riders get behind it, as they provide the numbers. Personally, Charity Runs aren’t my favoured type of ride but I don’t mind fronting if it’s a good cause and in this ...
My brother has a lovely Norton Commando, 72 I think. Anyway the bike had a recent oil change however between draining the old oil and refilling, several days had gone by. Now the oil return line sputters a little oil and a lot of air when the engine ticks over. Also, the filter was replaced, he is rechecking the unit to ensure it is the correct one. We suspect there is an airlock in the oil system somewhere. Any suggestions on how to get the old girl to pump oil again? Thanks.
the wine got poured, the gloves came off, the boots hung loose... and the laptop got opened. What a day!!!! Made it over the Harbour Bridge first time, easy! Even dodged 20 odd bikes prior going west, then got annoyed with slow traffic and left the man behind. Gett to puhoi, ah a nice coldie... ah then the bride to be turned up, then another bus load of guys half cut already on a stag doo. FUN... the days! 2 hrs at Puhoi was enough, thought we would cruise home via those nice west ...

Hi I am new to all this as I'm still on my restricted. lol 45 and trying something new : ). Anyhow besides the obvious price difference and rider preferences what else should I look for when upgrading. I like the look of the Ducati Monster 696 but dealer wasn't that helpful when I asked if it could be lowered. The Hyosung looks good naked but handle bars would need changing etc, my local the dealer very helpful . I also like the Susuki 650s and once again dealer helpful and assures me it can ...
