Saturday 19 May, 11.30pm. Here's the original post. What a day. Even though it's late, I'm still amped! Got up this morning at a leisurly hour, and after a bit of breakfast and posting my 1000th post (), I decided I'd ride in to Sportzone Suzuki here in Christchurch and join them on their weekly Saturday ride. Not as many bikes this week as other times I've been with them, but no worries. It seemed to be the day for SVs... there were at least three SV1000Ss and an SV650S... ...
It’s easy to get wrapped-up in our jobs and get too busy to enjoy the small moments that come along. For me, my day is pretty much spent at a computer and there’s always plenty to get on with so it’s head-down, arse-up, but the highlight of my week is often a visit from my mate Jake. Jake and Elane-Mei (pronounced E-lay-nee May) are my Moko’s, or more correctly my Great-nephew & Great-niece, or if you want to be really pc correct…my first cousins twice removed. Jake ...
Well I made it with the usual range of strange goings on along the way. Being strapped into a chair for 10 hours straight, minimal access to any exercise at all, and the occasional pee break between movies isn't my personal idea of a good time. Combine that with the prospect of another 12 1/2 hours of the same to follow, and a guy somewhere upwind farting every now and then and you have my flight in a nutshell. I got to Singapore - "You wish to buy duty free sir?" I assume it was ...
I'm a bit of a waffler and thought this Blog thing might be right up my alley because I've never kept a diary but do find it interesting to look back sometimes.... Anyway this happened yesterday (17 May 07) but I just got round to doing 'the blog thing'. !!?%#@!! Broke my right mirror and scuffed the right mirror cover and right pannier this morning! !!?%#@!! I was riding down my driveway (steepish) and about to turn right down the road when a prick in a ute ...

Dedicated to the memory of our Mentor, Uncle B. Thank you to all that submitted entries this past week. I have found reading these entries very, well how should I say, ‘thought provoking’. Suffice to say if I read and at times re-read an entry, I often find myself saying ‘I am not alone, I was only thinking or doing that last weekend too’ Kinje, thank you for your participation as this weeks sole selector. To Minnie and gijoe1313, congratualations you are our selectors ...
Dedicated to the memory of our Mentor, Uncle B. This week our two selectors both chose Kinje. Thanks Mrs Kendog and Daza for your selection, and also I want to acknowledge Merv for his input guidance. (I actually went back through Kinje’s posts and came across Merv’s input – thanks Merv) Originally Posted by Mrs Kendog I choose Kinje, because I think his post shows he has put some thought into how he's riding (something I often forget to do) and not just how fast he can ride.
