How resilient are the new safety camera trailers?

    Thread Starter: jellywrestler

New trailers out there, won't belong before someone takes aim at one, or sets out to destroy a lot in one hit, of course there will be supervision cameras worth thousands in the, but balaclavas are pretty cheap too. Whose gonna be first to deal to one?

Used Gear - How to best pass it on?

    Thread Starter: rastuscat

I've been in the motorcycle safety game for several decades. In that time, I've collected several jackets, pairs of pants, various other gear. Some gets worn more than others. I see people every day riding in shocking gear, shorts, t-shirts, that sort of thing. How do we get across to those...

I am thinking of doing some longer rides, maybe a 800k or iron butt or even the tt2000. What do you guys do. A water bottle in a tank bag or a bladder and tube type thing. We have to stop for fuel or a checkpoint any way so a bottle in the tank bag would be ok i my mind.

  • Marshals urgently required for Hampton Downs round of Nationals

Nationals - Hampton Downs Motorsport Park 15~17 March 2012

    G'day All,
As most of you will know the Auckland Motorcycle Club will be holding it's round of the Nationals over the weekend of 16~17 March 2012 at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park

Like most organisations we can always do with a few extra pairs of hands come Race Day(s) - so if you’ve ever wanted to experience top class motorcycle racing first hand “Marshaling” is where it’s at – you simply don’t get closer to the action than these guys & girls do short of actually racing yourself !!!

We need a minimum of 18 Marsahls for Friday afternoons parctice sessions & 31 minimum on both race days...

Those of you are interested in giving up a couple of hours of your time over those days are invited to contact Ange (Chief Flag Marshal) on 027 684-0552 , ms.chief.angel@gmail.com or myself on 027 242 7639 or scottzx12@gmail.com – free entry to the meeting will be provided on the day(s) you are marshalling as well as lunch & drinks during the day, we’ll even throw you some petrol vouchers to compensate travel expenses...

Please give it some thought & pass a link to this thread along to anyone you may also think would be interested

This year the A.M.C.C has made a significant investment in making this meeting a "Family Day Out" environment with onsite activities gaurenteed to keep kids of all ages entertained, they include a live band, trade stalls, face painting, 1 hour endurance race to name but a few - come along, give us a few hours of your time & enjoy the party atmosphere when your done

Thanks for taking the time to look this over & we hope to hear from you shortly...

    Cheers

Have a free bump, in the form of me letting everyone down. My fan belt decided to start slipping this morning, took it to the boys to get them to look, and it was decided we should replace it. Given it was about to snap! So that, and the cam belt etc were all done today. Which means I have no gas money. Which means no epic road trip.

Hi Sharon, i dont know why the email would bounce, it should work, anyways, we only have one meeting left (possibly two) and thats the ART Day in April which i'd probably see you actually participate in... if Gremlin or Toto has your email address, get either of them to pass it on to me (they have mine) if you are keen to help out with next season ok.

P.S. AMCC isnt organizing this weekends last round of Nationals at Taupo

      Cheers,

      Ange
