If this is still happening this Wednesday night, can anyone give me a lift there and back from Vogeltown? Don't have working lights on my only motorway capable scoot. Can ride pillion. Jess
Just to let you know your request isn't falling on deaf ears. Unfortunately I don't live anywhere near Vogeltown otherwise I could easily give you a lift. But if you are still stuck late tomorrow afternoon and have no way of getting to the P & J I could take the cage and be a taxi driver as it is all for a good cause. Send me a PM then and we'll see what we can do.
Cheers - I can ride into Wellington and get picked up from there.
What time will the Stadium be open to us? I was wondering if I could park my bike there anyway, maybe somewhere out of the way so it doesn't get ridden over as everyone comes and goes. Otherwise I need a fairly flat piece of road to park on as I have a dodgy stand and short legs, so maybe outside Vic uni? It's flatter there than Molesworth eh?
I couldn't make the meeting obviously (have a sick child to care for just now). Was there anything in particular we need to know from the meeting? What can we expect?
Pretty sure the area we are parking the bikes is open all the time. You can't get a car up there because of bollards, but a bike can be ridden up there anytime I believe. And on the day I would expect that the two staff members put on by the stadium (yep just two, that was the number mentioned at our meeting at the P&J the other day) will be expecting to see us there early anyways. A point to raise at Monday's meeting I suppose. Scootnz There is another meeting scheduled for Monday evening at 7pm, somewhere. Venue to be confirmed by Kathy (Ms Piggy). Are you receiving her emails?
No I'm not getting any emails, other than the odd post from the Bikoi thread.
Jess - you should be getting emails now. As per my PM to you I only discovered right now that this group was in existence. If you cannot make the Monday night meeting that's okay - just be at Parliament by 10am on Tuesday (if you can) and make yourself known to 1 of the marshals. We appreciate any help you can give!
