I'd do a bit of an international google search first to get an idea on prices and maybe what other models use the same one.
then ring the local Suzuki dealer....you just never know.
Do a search on KB mechanics section, probably been discussed before.

NEVER ring a local suzuki stealership unless totally desparate.

i'd ring the wreckers first, they're bound to have them.

there are also kits for starter motors available. if you want to go down that route i can have a look at my "favourites" web links, i'm sure i'd have a link somewhere among a hundred or so other bike-parts related sites, lol

That is Buckets & Bits and is managed by one of our non contributing members (Stain)

He's overpriced and will ban you from participating in his Tardme auctions when you tell him so, but from what I hear he does have the goodies

Tis the starter clutch we are looking for, the starter motor itself seems in good condition

I think you will find that they carry a little more than just the starter motors.

have you confirmed what exactly is wrong with the starter clutch?

it's usually only a few little pins that break while the rest is usable. if that is the case i'd go for new parts, and a local stealership would be a good place for that.

The bolts have come loose and torn thread out of the front part of clutch. The clutch housing is damaged (fucked) the only salvageable pieces are the 3 roller bearings which are in good nick

is this what it looks like?

if it is just the threads you may be able to put oversized threaded inserts in (but not helicoil)

I need at least 7 and 8, 4 and 6 and whole housing by 5,4, 6 (these are must haves) preferably with piece that bolts on front
