Oh yeah!!!! New bike!!!! Well, parts of one anyway. So the KL (Kawasaki Lochin) project begins. I am yet to give it a real name, we'll see what it turns into. A small () list of things needed/to do so far. List will need to be updated as I go. -An engine Have got a Lochin 150 lined up for early next year from Nigel. -Front brake set up. One piston set up complete for around $50 from Newmans. I'll keep an eye out for a two piston caliper though. -New front and rear disks -Cut the rear piping off the sub frame. Can be shortened by around 150mm. -Plastic fuel tank -Fiberglass cover for over tank and engine head -New tires. Have a 17'' front, but 18'' rear, so might look for a 17'' for the rear too. -Make a new seat. Maybe a one piece tank cover and seat made from fibre glass and fastened with bonnet clips for quick access There are a lot of lugs and mounts that aren't needed, but will build it up to a rolling frame first before cutting stuff off. Engine mounts will have to be shited, but can't see any major problems at this point. Good times ahead
I Think you pass as a real bucket racer now. let the never ending story begin.... Nice work.
