Merry Xmas to you all. A great time to spend with family and friends, for sure. I trust that all our BFTP members get what they are expecting from Santa.

With all this merry spirit going around, perhaps next year we can give something back as a group. If a good cause is agreed on, and we can do a poker run or some other fundraising idea that would be awesome. Diane and I will be dragging the buckets through the Henderson mall today for SAFE, would like to do something with BFTP, giving to a good cause and having a good ride as well is like a double whammy of good vibes

Well we do have some funds kicking around in the back of my bike bag from th sale of STICKETS, Up to the Croc though they was his babies.
Other than that though a damn fine Idea, I'm in.

I was hoping that the sticket funds would go into subsidising the cloth patches caseye, I have done my 10 runs....

I don't mind what it is used for but figured it was a way to finance other pretty baubles such as more stickets, badges, shirts etc.

I think Dodgy was suggesting that we could throw our weight behind charities by way of going on runs to help collect funds rather than straight out giving donations.

Poker Run, Raffle, don't know maybe tag onto something someone esle is doing?

anything apart from a bikini bike wash will be fine

Had babysitting duties yesterday so only Diane went to do the fundraising.
She had to wear a full fluffy wabbit suit complete with head in the sun for 3 hours in a carpark, babysitting dosen't seem so bad sometimes.

I said "apart from a bikini bike wash " and to clarify, that also means mankini or any other kini hybrid.

Took my bike to Mt Eden Motorcycles first bikini bike wash, thought it was going to be fun, but I spent the whole time thinking 'no more water in the electrics please, I want to ride home' which spoilt the mood somwhat. How uncool to hop on your nice shiny clean bike, turn the key, push the button and it goes....click...click...click...click....
