Hiya, anyone know where theres one of these CB900s 79-81 for sale. Had a few before and feel the need for another. Been keeping an eye on TM and theres a ratty looking one in NP for sale but not much else around. Should'nt of sold my last one a year ago dammit! Guess I must be gay now then.........Honda thingy want etc. Pink one would be nice. Anyone from New Plymouth here that may wish to check the one out for me please? Cheers

Don't think you will find a CB900 or you will be very lucky to! Heres the 750 model (same as mine so you can't get it) but strangely when he first put it up he had a bid up to $2,800 and did not reach reserve and then re listed at $2,500?? Funnily enough I picked up 2 CB9s off TM, and one was me the only bidder at 3500. Both blue/silver combos. I want the unfaired versions, already got 2 faired bikes and wanna do it naked again!

i've seen the 900s on trade me but rarely. unless you need it today! one is bound to show up again. i liked them best in white

looks a bit beaten up to me... the indicators, the rear light, the headlight ears and the bars all have been replaced and engine cases seems to have been painted. the wheels don't match each other either. all not major problems but may indicate a history of neglect... i say it's a full rebuild jobby, eh dodgy?
Yeah seems maybe a bit of a shitter and when I asked the bloke about the engine rebuild he did'nt know much and got the usual, 'oh the last guy did it, not sure what he did but it was a full rebuild!' Looked up my TM sales record to see if I can find the guy I sold my one too last year and see if he wants to sell it back, but can't find it so I'm guessing we did'nt exchange feedback as it was a sale not a auction, so no record is there.
Its not a boldor either, they all came with the full fairings kit.
not sure for here, but in europe boldors didnt have fairings as standard. if i could choose i'd have one each... looks much better without the fairing (imo) but certainly much more comfortable for touring with the fairing on. my choice of colors: straight white and gold with no fairing... and a red and white with a fairing... like some guy here has it
dooly...try googling it...sometimes you'll find the old expired auctions that way...especially if you know the specific words in the subject line
