Take a decent size pack with a pair of shorts, thongs, T shirt, hat and sunnies. Strip and swap then carry the bag or leave it on bike or in local shop or some such..... no problem.

I've been promising myself that I'll go for the last 3 years.

When is the next puke BIG classic meet (same weekend?).. Feck

There's gear stores at the Rugby club , and in the main street. Costs $5 (I think) . Others too. Easy peasy.
    The DN01?

What time/when and route if you please
Modern = Anything with brakes that work

Time? Route? what are these things of which you speak? Time is sometime morningishish. Route is southish more or less, and wiggle a bit. I don't do times or routes. It's a small island. Sooner or later you either get there, or reach the sea.

I usually somehow or other end up going through Ngataea (or some such place. Long street, good cafe on right, servo ditto with idiots with boats, bridge at far end, always cops ahnging about.

Basically, head down to Miinda, leftish at the palce where everyone sops (there's a shop of some sort I think) hang a rightish after the ironwork bridge thing, then a left when you've got no choice, and through Nartea , and follow y' nose. Can't miss it.
