Some of you may have noticed that I haven't been posting much lately. Been a bit busy being "daddy daycare" for the last month. In the mean time I bought an old beater car as we needed to be in two places at once. So I bought an '84 Ford laser 3 door 1100 cc, and it is a shitter, dont get me wrong. No power steering, no AC, no electric windows, no power etc etc Thing is I love driving it, given the choice between "Hotwheels", as the kids have named it, and the more modern Honda I reach for Hotwheels' keys every time. I don't know why, maybe 'cause you actually have to drive it, maybe cause I know I could fix 99% of the issues it will ever have with a coin and some foil paper. What ever the reasons I think they are pretty similar to the reasons I have a BFTP bike............ Am I alone in this or am I mad? _________________

if i had the time and resources i'd love to do up an older car. the problem with me is that i cant stop improving things and with a car the expenses can get astronomical pretty fast. i had a 1980 ford escort station wagon, in light blue, and i loved it. it had mag wheels, 13inch! i thought the interior in brown didnt suit so i repainted all the linings red...
I have a guy that wants to but my 97 Vtec accord and i will probably get reg and wof on my old 82 subaru ute. Ive got a 07 hilux for a work vehicle and hate the horrible thing, i had a 96 corolla wagon before and want it back, it just sits in the back yard at work, boss thinks i need the "Flash" show off ute instead. Only good thing about it is the stereo
my vechiles are not modern , 1996 Mitis wagon plus just swopped a small bike for a 80's L300 van which I actually quite enjoy driving , funny thing dont get supermarket nutters parking close

i thought i wanted to carry on with old cars...so bought an xa falc gs....in red n black, tridents, manual box etc just as i had as a teenager....then it sat in the shed and gathered dust and camping gear etc lol so i sold it! happy with bikes at the mo...unless rdjase wants to sell me a vg pacer? lol
What about a VG Valiant pacer and a VG Regal 770 V8 2 door Hardtop must get keen on them again, no room in my shed, Next house be much better
