As per discussed last night with us HBers in regards to a get together here in the Bay. We'd like to offer up a weekend of riding, beverage consumption, and choice roads to ride on. There will be no nasty funny moustached camp commandant as per Taumaranui, but one can be arranged if requested. The weekend of 23/24/25 Fri/Sat/Sun April is what we're looking at. It will be held at my place which is 25kms SW of Hastings, within my 18 acres. 163 Tait rd Maraekakaho if you want to Google. Its in wine country with a few vineyards to visit in the area if anyone wanted to. We have a flatish 3 acre paddock to camp in, or under pines, wherever you wish. Portaloos will be onsite, but of course theres a couple of loos in the house. So its a camping event, tents, vans etc, bedding. BBQs will be provided, all the food stuff etc to be sorted 100% yet. Showering will be a queue situation in the house, and maybe a short dash & splash, but hell, its country! There is no issue with noise and a party, so its all ok. We'll prob have to sort out lighting, but there is power to the paddock, (I think) Bikes can be stored up the top in my shed, undercover if wanted. The basic things is a ride on the Sat, then call in at the Classic bike Club which is on the way home, then a meal at the bar & grill, 3kms down the road from me, The Chook & Filly, a good country pub place. No need to worry about cops out there! They also do lattes........ Then back home to sink bulk piss & do whatever. Wickle has another good blast for Sunday, so thats about it. Nothing's set in stone, just the basic rundown, anything can be changed if wanted. Please let us know if you want to attend, and I guess someone who knows how will add it to the event calendar. Trina and I are looking at coming over from the Tron but we dont have any camping gear or stuff. Did I read somewhere that Flash has a spare room or two (Bags one of them if he did) or will the HBr's be camping out the night?? Well done and all going well looking forward to it!
The Hbers are camping too. Plenty of HB folk can help with tents etc, we have 2 ourselves as the missus uses them when she goes away on horsey weekends. You're welcome to use one, just yell out.

hey muz! yep sure do have a spare room which you good folks could of had...although we (myself and tate) will camp out at the rally site, (as it is about 40km from my place. Iif you want some help gettin some gear organised down here (so you wont have to carry etc) just let me know and ill see what i can rustle up

im much the same dude, not handy with it....just piss around with mates, my bass got knicked outa my brothers farm cottage recently...luckilly the scum didnt see the peavy amp or my bro's drumkit....or they were disturbed before they could take more....
