How's the pasta?

    It's great to have so many tomatoes you can put as many as you like in and make a pasta worthy of the name.But too many tomatoes out of just 6 plants,so tonight I dragged the old dehydrator out and filled it with tomatoes...so that's something to do with them.Less work than making tomato sauce in summer.

    I have a huge yellow courgette pumping out a couple of fruit a day.And finally this year some peppers.I have an Iranian cucumber that has grown all over the garden,flowers and baby fruit everywhere...but none have set.Maybe it needs a special bee? I haven't pulled my potatoes yet,I'll let them die off and pull them later.

    The girlfriend showed up with her italian tomato seperation device. After simmering everything went into the top, crank the handle and the skins/seeds came out the side and the rest into the jars for bottling.
    Most impressive machine!

    The pantry is groaning with jars of beetroot. First one has been consumed and was bloody tasty. Quite impressed with the results.
