Was heading home and spotted a ZLtd parked on the High st here in Hutt. Emergency stop, turn around and belt across the road to leave a note on the bike. Just as the owner turned up looking slightly worried.... Its a '80 ZK 400ltd. Very cute wee bike. And he has a couple of Hondas including a er...bugger does CX sound correct? Anyway I have his details, have told him about you lot, and he is keen to come along and get to know us. And is keen to go riding with similar era bikes. Yaay go Kwaka's. Couldnt believe my eyes seeing it parked there.

Isn't that what the ignorant called the CX500s? Havnt heard that for a looooong time................. Thought Dadpole was talking the lost langauge of Suzuki
And the fully faired ones were called Plastic Maggots Nice pics Ratti, how come you have an industrial sewing machiine and a seat held together with nana's blankie and duct tape? Is it like a mechanics car, or a painters house?
yup, that is it exactly Dodgy. Officially I am trialling the foam to make sure it's in the right place before I reco the seat. UNofficially, it works so why fuck with it? I figue once I glue the blankie over the seat people will piss off and stop hassling me. Of course i may well get laughed at a lot more, but I can live with that! Just wait till you see what Im intending to do. I will post pix once its done.
I thought so, and it's a common thing. I was a mechanic and a house painter in past lives You said blankie
I thought so, and it's a common thing. I was a mechanic and a house painter in past lives ...not to mention tyre fitter and gasket maker.

So did you Dodgy...blankies all round is it?
Yes please Ratti, the nights are getting colder and BFTP is getting older. A tartan travelling rug in every pannier. We used to carry them to have a sneaky root in the bushes whilst on tour, now they just keep the knees warm on winter nights Maxed Shedroom . . . . and Honorary Friend Of OPEC.
