My old RG150
Hey breakaway, I have Meekey Mouse's RG. With the "other" paint job. It also has the race tuned by Cris Mitchell sign on it. Reckon they might be related?
Just added the mad KX500/RGV photo. We better post some stuff in here, lest cough, cough people think the two stroke is truly dead? For me, the two stroke motor speaks to my soul, where as - there is always this soft fuzzy firewall in between with the 4 stroke.
Spare plugs in jacket pockets, hitting the power band at inappropriate times
But, what should we put? It said to be a social networking friend thingy. But I am neither friendly nor social. What is one supposed to post in a social friendship network?
Random shit that otherwise fills forums?
Oh dear. Oh dear. Two strokes. It's what they do. Is why we luvs them
What's that from?
The arzhole. RZ350
And this as well - happily occured right outside Coroglen Pub
Wow,is this a place where we show off big pictures of 2 stroke pistons? This is the DT230 [IMG][/IMG]
Nice, I'll have that as my wallpaper.
Well, it lives again. Now to see what falls off, springs a leak or seizes in the first 20 miles. Bloody watercooling. If the good Lord hasd meant things to be watercooled He wouldn't have invented air. Or he'd have made us fishes. I never have to worry about the air leaking after rebuilding a Suzuki.
First ride on the DT230 today, after 18 months off the road for a mere engine rebuild, but such is life. What a nice little bike, after the thuggish XT600 it feels light and nimble in every way - the bike is light, the handling is light, and the engine is light too...if you get my drift. It's running very well,it has lost the ragged running on light throttle openings - the clue I didn't pick up on that the mains seal was gone.It still has good power everywhere, but doesn't seem as savage off the throttle,it's a lot tamer and easier to ride. I was wondering if that missing top land at the exhaust port had any effect on performance, but didn't think it would effect low speed performance. The updated piston has cavities for the booster ports at the gudgeon pin, which is shorter. It also has a champher on the intake port which might do something too.Still having an annoying leak at the oil pump....gggrrrrrr. Now,like Ixion - what will fall off or leak on a longer ride?
