be safer to ride a HD I dunno...the brakes on those luge sleds aren't too bad....
i went there 20 or so years ago with a club...........funny as...........had the Le Mans style run to ya kart thing and take off down the hill.............bout six of us ended up frieght-trainin down the track flat out..........pffffft.........brakes.........who needs em.... almost takin out a mum and two little kiddies...........eventually the three cats in front of me all crashed with each other on the double chicane towards the bottom and i cruised to victory.........the three who crashed although wearing biker gear still sustained injurys.......mainly wrists and fingers...........but thats another thread..........

The luge is fun, been nearly 20 years since I did it too. Full M/C gear is a must, gloves especially. I'm keen to meet at the luge...
