help me someone. Im considering buying a zook.

    86 400 savage ( SL?)

just over 62000k, wanting 2600 for it

buggered seat tho, o well I have duct tape and some foam

Bloody fun little bike to ride. Zippy, handles corners suprisingly well. Once i got over the 'OMG Im riding a lawnmower" it reminded me of a BSA an ex used to have.

unless someone tells me otherwise, Im sold on it.

    aaargh...

But i heard it's got the heart of a mountain lion or some other preditor.

They are good bikes, but being a wee 400 it would have had to have had an easy 62,000km to be a good one.

It's certainly not a little snapping turtle...

sigh. I have been frantically thinking of a way to incorporate 'cougar' onto the tank instead of savage.
add a D and make it 'savaged by a cougar' ?

Mrstrs, you must be able to think of something??? chocy fish to the idea I run with?

they are good for about 80 thou. The 650 version was rubbish but the 400's have a good reputation.

But... but.. It is so SMALL. It has as much power as the starter motor on your Z

Well, it may be small , but it's very upright and erect. We're talking about the engine, right ?

What we're talking about here is conceptual degrees of fulfilment within a certain sphere of visual and mental stimulia
Basically, by providing a complete contrast to the bike you normally ride, you're opening your mind to a whole range of new emotions and experiences
I ran a 1263 Katana and a Honda CD200 Benly at same time. Both bikes were equally as much fun, given the right conditions a little bike can be just as rewarding as a big un.

o god, I have so heard all this already on the cougar thread..

Part of the buzz today was the fact that it is so bloody small. big contrast to the lumpy, heavy zed.
yes it is slow, yes it is less grunty, but its CUTE, and this one is a girl. shit, even found myself wanting to work out what her name is.

If slow and less grunty is what you want ,you really need is a BMW R50/5 Toaster.

I did look at the toaster, really tho chook Im not a mechanic and all i want is something fun that I can walk away from if it ends up trying to cost me lots of money. I need to save my cash for the zed cos he is the keeper

The toastie is as simple as a bike can be, think of 2 lawnmowers joined together and subtract 5hp.
On the plus side it has factory panniers which are great for lugging stuff around, hard to beat hard luggage.
