8 bucks! It was pretty good for $2,and I felt ripped off when it went up to $5 - @ $8 I won't be going.

Well,rumour has it there was a Guzzi V8 on these shores,back when a very famous Honda rider used to live here.
looks like they are trying to make up the short fall on the V8 crowds.... I turned down a free pair of tickets to the racing... Holdens and Fords ....
It's a disastrous decision to have the swapmeet on the same weekend as the V8 racing IMHO. Access is gonna be a drama unless you're there by 7am and gone by 9am. The $8 entry fee is the least of anyone's worries . . .
Yep, it will suck alright. Hamilton's a nightmare when the racing is on.

Swapmeet Report: Traffic conditons were light...just more Holdens and Fords... They have built a new pavillion with all the mod cons like proper toliets and lighting. Gone is the clubby sausage sizzle and the cans of fake Coke and Sprite... Now is all Flat Whites and muffins....the times they are a changing.... what hasn't changed is the huge variety of unidentified rusty English crap on sale.... although rusty Jap crap is catching up. I'm over buying stuff at swap meets that looks the same but isn't. I'm comfortable with Innerent shopping and being able to ask stupid questions. R90s had a sucessfull morning, trying his hand at the old school trailer load of crap, sitting drinking tea and biscuits. There was no Guzzi crap as Dodgy has it all. Great ride back thru Huntly/Heatherington Road/ SH22. The SS had a nice outting.
Did anyone see the sliver Mk2 850 Commando there? Was supposed to be there for bidder viewing but I got the message too late to arrange to see it....
Yeah...$13000.00 ..As Supertramp once said " Dreammmmer...." There were a few Commandos there all very tidy and not for sale. Looking at the Norvil again, look how far back the seat is relative to a Std one...another 100mm er 4"... him ( in Ratti speak) is a real racer crouch....suit you sir.
Oh My Norvil----Yes, it is me all over, I don't even mind the yellow. Someone has already bid on it. I will prepare myself for dissapointment. I do have a top dollar but it may not be top enough. 13 Grand! No way. As Dad From 'The Castle' said "Es Dreamin son"
