well i'm in a slight quandary, given the self destruction of bluey last weekend; and the fact that TZR project requires significant $$ for the required engineering to get her to the level that I really want it to be at for taupo. and down time...

so I thought I've got two options:
    1. wait it out and save sell and beg. to get the project underway and ready by maybe july.
    2. put the development back a few months (start in august) and slot in a loncin for the mean time.

    Any thoughts?

Did any one tell tv3 that hell must have frozen over, as I'm pretty sure you are talking about riding a four stroke!?!

Loncins are pretty cheap from the box. And the resale would be good. But if you were going to spend that money, wouldn't you be better off waiting and putting that money towards the TZR?

I would wait. That's my two cents worth.

More out of frustration me thinks.
Some quality shed time today, meant the frame is cut and 2 sets mounding brackets are ready for my welding mate to fix up for me.
this only leaves the front and top mounts to resolve. some study of "busa petes" yamagama 100 is required.

though he seems to have missed one of the rear mounts????? i don't know, there go's someone else doing the r&d for me.

Good measure up of the motor internals has resolved a few of the issues i was going to have. helps if yo measure up the right piston to head clearance!!!

Really good think is that I've uncovered a heap of Stainless Steel, maybe useful for the new exhaust. shiny .
though I would have to pay to get it welded up.
