Anyone keen on a ride this Sunday?
Mid morning meet at the Autobahn in Dury first then collect the Waikato folks at Rangariri, follow Te Ohaki Rd along the Waikato river to the power station, then turn up Hetherington Rd to SH22, then left to Raglan for lunch then back along SH22 to Pukekohe and home.

You need to put a few more corners into the ride - go up Glen Murray Rd and turn left into Rotongaro Rd,this brings you out onto Hetherington road. The hippies are coming to Huntly this weekend,I might have to get my palm read and some marijuana seedlings on saturday instead.....

I tried to tempt Bender with the Puch.....his wife seemed quite animated about the idea....
Do you think if I painted it red I could flog it off as a learner Falcone?
Dentless panel man over your way..Forrest Gump Hill rd wants to have a shot at the Duke tank.... I'm not keen to buy an Ebay ( scratched) 300 US one.....

Rotongaro Rd is sealed, and in good condition - even the tank doesn't seem to rip it up.Rotongaro Rd and Hetherington Rd from SH22 to Rotongaro are the best bike roads in the area....if you like corners that is.

On the saturday before Anzac Day I saw one of the tanks unloaded down by the lake and driven down someones driveway - a tank in suburbia! I thought it might be used in the Anzac services, but I was at the Dawn Service and didn't see or hear the tank. And You couldn't miss it,it really makes a noise! Not the sort of thing you want driven around town at 6.00am.But later that morning I heard a screaming engine - either the tank,a TS3,or a Trident towing a caravan.
