I know we have a Bikes on Trademe thread but I reckon we need another one called Dreamers' Corner for those people who are really pushing it in terms of asking heaps for piles of rubbish. Any time the word "project" features in a Trademe ad, you can guarantee that what you are looking at is a festering pile of crap that has been stripped, with the really hard-to-get bits sold or lost already, then the bike has sat outside for severl years before being used as a fetiliser shelf or chicken perch. This guy is a dreamer.
Hmmmmm not picture. Try again.
Ah it's going really well today. I give up.
HAH!!...the pictures in my dreams seem so real...........
I am going to keep trying. I refuse to be beaten by glitches and bugs. Do people really like TL125s this much? Big start price, add $400 for re-reg, is this really worth the thick end of a grand? Now I remeber when these things went. Ugly, smokey, rattly old jokes that couldn't pull the skin of a rice pudding. Now, how in the heck are you going to get parts for the thing?
mate they is all shit.......i never understand the rebuilds done on old Jap 125's......
I can't understand all the 'Fizzy' mania in the UK.
I like little bikes...I'll never sell my Gilera Mosquito project....anyone got a crank for one?
Aww come on Volty, fashion one out of a paperclip and send it to Bob for balancing.
The next thing Bob sees will be Triumph bits.....
I don't know why people like TL125's,and I have one.My TLR200 is much better....but it's still not a good trials bike. There's a lot to dream about here....the name is the best part about it.There is a lot more fleshing out required to add substance to the dream. I'm not dreaming - this.... Will fit into this.... But where is the rest of the stuff to turn it into a motorcycle? Dreams are made of this.
Is that a 'grey frame" OIF 71 BSA A65....waiting for a Yammy 650 transplant?? ...some cerani forks, ducati wires, borrani rims, 900ss seat and small Triumph tank....norvil fairing...yep.
Did you steal my shopping list? '71 Triumph by the numbers. The one with the very high seat height - after so many years on dirt bikes it'd feel so wrong to flat foot at the lights.
