My boy is dead keen after buckets this weekend, he rode GrantNZ's FXR150, Had a blast, got going real quick in the open practice sesion at the end of the day, mixing it up with the A grade riders. His 1st comment when he came in was "I need some knee sliders Dad" His leathers have only got leather pads on the velcro were the sliders fit, he scaped them to bits When we got home he went onto trademe , looked at bikes and deleted all the xbox crap he had on the watch list Bikes 1 , Bill Gates 0 Bought a FXR from napier tonight, and taking the Honda engine out of the honda retro bucket thing and putting it in the FZR250 frame for me. i was tying the retro honda hing in knots yesterday. tank and seat will end up on my T20 Suzi race bike, front end and all my other old bucket parts can go. Time to get rid of some parts i will never use
Good one Jase, My Sons would rather play X box...anyway if I have to do all the work and organising I really can't be arsed....I have less biking days left than I have used so now its what I want to do. I'd like to get my three Triumphs going, including the Daytona 500 track bike....but the missus has 'house plans'......
Oh Oh! I'm after a set of FXR front indicators in good pre-bucket condition.... come on, don't make me nick Max's daughters ones
This is the FXR, http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=314253306 better get the guy to unlist it. Will put the rego on hold and take off the road gear and make a new race wiring harness. Tyler can use it as a road bike when its license time (15 OR 16?) I have entered tyler in buckets for the BRM summer series, he cant do the 1st round as he is 3 weeks off 13 but can do the trackday and the other meeting. he is being pit runner on the 1st race day. Pacific Club has a $15 entry fee for juniors and students to promote racing for the young ones Will post some pics on tyler on grants bike when I figure out how He dosnt know about the FXR yet, We are going to the Pacific meeting tonight so i will tell him we are going on the duke and get the FXR out when he comes outside in his leathers
Did you sell your bucket Volty?
