Here's the link - go to post number 86.
Don't think much to his welded footrest brackets and i hope he masked up that inlet manifold before he sprayed, he certainley didn't worry about the engine sprocket.
lmfao!!! havent laughed this much in a long time! thanks for posting bender, a real gem, makes me feel sooo much better about my (comparatively) minor mishaps, lol
advrider....so thats where you spend all your time.... I bought a " pressure pot" in the UK years ago, it hooks up to an air line and you fill it with red garnate.....I did some of my Kombi with it in the garage....much the same result.... never used it since.....hmmmm baking soda might work...
Yorkshire - I wouldn't worry too much about it. Go back through that thread and have a look at the swingarm mount.
I like Advrider, some of the stuff on there is incredible, and some of it downright funny. Where else can you get 300 pages of posts about "Batshit Crazy ex-wives and girlfriends," and learn how frightened a man can be when his wife trips the loop and starts chasing him round the house with a 14 inch strap-on called Frankie that is dripping with KY. Or, potentially the most mind-boggling ride report of all time, set in the jungles of Borneo (note the comments about Palm seed plantations and contrast it with Fonterra's white-washing of their farmers use of palm seed in feeding their cows). Click here if you have an hour or so to spare.
I lke that chaps style. Never let the possibility of a mess stop you from doing dumb arse things. Or let lack of knowledge stop you from giving it a shot anyway...after all, if all the parts went together at the start, they have to go back on somewhere right?
