May you all have a great time with family and friends, lots of food and laughter and many exciting times on two wheels. See you sometime in the new year
MERRY XMAS EVERYONE.
Thanks and Yuletide greetings to all the BFTPers. May your horspeower be true, the roads dry and your oil leaks few.
" So this is Christmas... and what have you fixed another old Honda or a Guzzi in the stix ( in high screechy Yoko Voice) And a B...F...TP Christmas And Classic New Year Lets hope its a dry one as C Moore has no gear... Ho Ho Ho everyone....
Have good a one everyone.
I've just got home from the Xmas piss up - paced myself on Woodstocks,as that's not my normal drink. Then rode my pushbike home in the rain balancing a 10kg sack of potatoes on the handle bars.Memories are made of this.Nice to see the Xmas bonus is back in the Bosses Xmas card...a sack of potatoes in lew of a bottle of wine maybe. Merry Christmas to those that have Merry Christmases, for those that don't...get into what you get into.I'll try to fit in an all day ride into my break.
Have a good one chaps. As I say in the Xmas cards... "Merry Syphilis and a Happy Gonorrhea"
A sack of spuds as a bonus? Shouldn't it be a sack of coal? Take it easy out there if your on your bike. It is the season of drunk and absent minded drivers.
To all, have a good day, some of us still have to help keep the wheels of life going.
Hey Dpole, just a refining suggestion for your regular Xmas greeting.......substitute "happy" with" clappy" I trust you all survived the festive season, just New Year to get through now.
Suggestion noted Diesel. It will be actioned next Xmas.
so what did you get for xmas?? croz book (yes i told them what to get) and........the dog bought me a bikerider mag....the MIL (not to be confused in any way whatsoever with a MILF).....gave me cash.......which i can't find.??...enough for some gloves apparently......oh and a living and giving voucher WTF!!??....herindoors has already bought a new chopping board with it.....
Bought the Cx a 4ltr pack of oil. Noted while I was at SuperCheap that they had oil filters on the shelf for the CB550 and GSX 750 which is kawl.
A present from myself was a used pair of 10'' Matterhorns - Kevlar this,Gortex that, and Thinsulate the other. These take a bit of getting into,so they are on for the day....but when do I change into slippers mid ride? And I have a Hiviz vest! I'm not a Hiviz sort of guy,but my daughter had some really bright fabric, and she made a joke about a hiviz vest....so we went from there.I didn't know what to expect, and the thing is a bit of an experiment. She made a satin lined heavy denim (another left over) suit style vest (high back,4 button, points, fob pockets and some chains) and put in some orange highlights - a V in the front and vertical stripes in the back...it actually looks pretty cool. It's 35 years since I wore a cut off DJ - I'll have to keep this one a bit cleaner....
two of my kids bought me a calender ( H/D one)
