The motorcycle section of the VCC have a run on Jan 1 leaving from the Jolly Farmer at 10:00 am, worth a look to see lots of old bikes. One of those follow the directions run. As of Jan 1 1980 bikes are concidered vintage.
still to young 1986 might be aloud in 6 years time to play
still to young 1986 might be aloud in 6 years time to play imho..all that vintage, post vintage, pre WW2, post ww2 stuff is bollocks. I used to turn up on my Darmah and it was seen as " a modern" .....now its 'classic'.....nothng has changed...its just older. Hmmm Darmah has no warrant.....hmmm
1980??....isn't that 30 years?.....isn't vintage / vehicle licencing 40 years?
Yes and yes. 30 years to become vintage car club eligible, which you can get 10k of insurance for about $130. 40 years for cheap rego. 1980 seems like only yesterday.....
Those youngs still remix the songs form the 80s so it must be a very long time ago
I was down in Queenstown a while back and all you heard anywhere was 80's music.....and Mum was right...you can't hear the words...and it was too loud.... Its good though as it means my record collection is 'retro' rather than old.
might pop out and have a look at the collection before the run though
Got a WOF for the Darmah, clutch still needs a bit of work but runs ok, I might just go out for a look see and decide from there. update:..... played around with the adjustment and got an extra 0.7mm on the clutch release....took for run and then tried to find neutral....every time... see...you can improve on perfection....
It wasn't until the '90's that I realised some of the rock music I listened to in the '70's were covers of jazz and blues from the '50's and '60's.
