It's a teaser geezers. What you can expect this weekend at the track... Best BFTP Friday lunch ever! Tomato sauce and Castrol R on your hot chippies
No luck reloading my pictures, must be at the Kiwibiker upload limit
No, I will just have to go and watch the boring old F5000 racing instead

All those bikes look the same to me Dodgy........red crosses in a small black box.......ooh err. I thought is was just my eyes, lucky I didnt buy some new glasses
Does a red cross through a white box mean they have been cut. The Razor gang strikes again!!
Does a red cross through a white box mean they have been cut. The Razor gang strikes again!! Is it for the Oil Flag?
yep....OIL FLAG!!.....can't wait to black flag croz tomorrow...........it has taken me a while to appreciate how close you get when marshalling.........Don't worry....im sure dodgy did the unreadable pictures on purpose...some sort of code no doubt......
Dunno, they might not have loaded properly. Worked fine when I checked, can't be arsed doing it all again.
did you cut the wire like we agreed so I can let the crew in for free.... I'll be Steve McQueen....Il Duce can be the Shultz " I know nothing" and Max can play the Damnbusters theme on his portable gramophone.
And then they let real bikes have a ride!!! The one on the left (TZ750) will be there tomorrow and Sunday in the Jap postie demo, making all the noise.
Have the CMRR realised that they are missing out on punters less than 60 with their rose tinted form of motorcycle apartheid? I'd like to see pre 76 Japanese bikes on the track racing , would make it more realistic than Nortons and Triumphs 'battling" it out for supremacy. What year is the TZ750?....looks very tasty.
Voltaire. Short answer is yes they know...If you look around the world, they are the only major club not allowing Jap bikes in old bike events at the Festival. They do at other events they run, but now in the same class. TZ750 is a 1976 "C" model. It and my brother's 75 B model are on the trailer below me right now. I saw the "VIKO Special being loaded on to a trailer last night as well. That was Roger Freeth's TZ750 with wings.
So if they just made it 'pre' 76 me thinks after a quck google the TZ750 would clean up the old duffers. Do they have any intention of 'getting real", or does Ken McIntosh have to retire first. I know two members of the committee ....I might stir them up tomorrow, they are good sorts, Noel has a Harley and Bridget rides a Ducati single. If I see you in the pits I'll pop in....covered or warehouse gazebo...?
I think the Classic Festival needs to stay close to it's roots - when the first classic event started that TZ750 was only a couple of years old. There are still plenty of bikes to make a field for 2 days racing, and they've had to extend it to a 3 day event.Plenty of other races through the year for later ''old'' bikes.Bears basically started because they stopped the hybrids racing - like 750 pre unit Triumphs with 5 speed boxes and Fontana front brakes. Now they've let the hybrid stuff back in,and it's far more interesting. They wouldn't let me race my '62 Norton because it had a Commando front brake, and were muttering about my race compound Michelins. They also wouldn't let me out on the track with my sidecar, there were only 2 of us with road racing sidecars, and they said no one would be interested....now look at the sidecar field.
