Yep, certainly was a good day, well the morning and meeting was, the ride home however was another story...... waiting now for the mechanic to let me know how much to fix it and how long. Certainly hope its running for the Aria ride.

Shite Gab, whats the story mate?

North of Papakura, the bike was dying with any throttle whatsoever. Limped all the way home by winding the idle right out and using the choke as a very CRUDE throttle. Was getting 55 to 60 klms an hour average , down to 40 up some of the hills. Took me effing ages and bloody scary, glad i didnt ride out of town when I was on me learners :tui:

Got the call late this arvo that the bike was ready and all sorted. It was an ant blocking the primary jet in the carby. An ant for gods sake. How the feck did that get there????? (thinking backstroke maybe????).
