I went into Red Baron to look at a HJC one like I have thats $100 on TM....its the same size. They had boots on sale....my 4 year old cheepy-returning-to-biking ones are falling apart....Got a nice pair of Gaerne boots for $250....Italian he said.....Yeah Right like they still make them there.....well they are!!!! and none of your silly coloured bits....black with a small reflector on the back....nice. their Shoei Quests were about $100 dearer than Motomail. Might bid on the HJC for now....don't want wifey getting upset...

If you have a $10 head buy a $10 helmet - I think that's pushing it a bit...I have a $5 head.
If you have a $10 head buy a $10 helmet I wear a hi vis vest and a hard hat at work sometimes.....I'm under no illusion that it will save me.
Why not just get a plastic pudding bowl, some twine and be done with it?
That would be fine with me - I've never owned a helmet that has met the road,and off road helmets might have a few grass stains.And that doen't mean I have always stayed on my bikes. But...there is always the but.I like to be prepared for buts.

won my HJC auction....same as my old one but new for a hundy would like a kwality helmet but with ACC getting the debt collectors on to me for 5 hundy they 'claim' i owe them and 6 hundy for van rego next month....... I was reading the Herald today about the Chinese influence....scary stuff. We have gone from high comodity low service costs economy to the opposite...... fecking service charges are a pita...
no good every came from borrowing 300m a week............but maybe they have a cunning plan.......if we keep going like this our wages will regress to 20% of Aus.....then we will become the new china with companies coming here for the cheap labour......we might even manufacture bikes....
