Its a toss up between John Pertwee and Tom Baker for me, David Tennant is good tho, dont know what they were up to with Kathrine Tate........... Chris eccelston was good as the 1st "new" Dr, Wasnt in it long
Thanks Wolfie, Yes I have seen it before too... Good episode though- it was well done as far as effects Vs the general British Sci-Fi goes. Usually you have to use your imagination to cover up the low buget effects dept. I would love a good hard core Dr to emerge. You kind of see it at the end of that episode, he gets that 'last of the line, do what I want' syndrome.. as opposed to the touchy-feely type in the past. Ya just wait every time for him to lose it and jam the sonic screwdrive up some alien's jacksie but it never happens. Roll on the biker-Doctor, has Guinness on tap in the Tardis, wears originals and has bug splat all over his scarf
Bummer it was a repeat but I hadn't seen it before so all good. I liked David Tennant as the Dok as well. I did have a chuckle at the often repeated wish by the Dr for a bicycle to travel the long corridors between "domes" - the answer was because every pound carried was three pounds of fuel - but how much metal was in those "spokes" between the domes Sorry, I know, Dro Who = suspend powers of analysis.
