infra-red laptimers... No more asking plebs to time you.... more bragging rights... After finally breaking a deal with the wholesaler, I now have 2 units for testing (with more on the way); So I'm Calling my test team in to try them out at the next Wellington Round??? I've just about finished a more powerful infra-red sender which can be mounted trackside and provides a significant improvement (signal strength and power lifetime) to the stock factory sender if it all works to plan. I was hoping to have it all going for Easter but life had other plans.... Timer specs: 64 laps, subsecond accuracy, 10second hold for each lap (those crazy enough to read while racing), post race re-call (max, min, total & overall average Lap times). size 60*40*12mm (small) about 50grams. the timers only cost ~$50NZD or less depending on order size. My sender will work out about the same + rechargeable battery (+solarcell if i get off my ass). factory sender $20nzd. Right so here's the idea in my head: Wellington boys, you would only need one sender (custom built and tested) and everyone will be able to lap time themselves during an event. someone in welly can just look after the sender. a smaller factory sender is available for personal use. Woodcraft 33-34mm clipons I've found someone in the states that will supply these for ~$240 nzd (including shipping). RRP nz is +300 http://bikestore.co.nz/products.asp?...y=117&item=412 These are the ducks nuts; CNC not cast like the Turbo300 that many of you have brought from me in the past (I think after the past month I will stop supplying these as an option). I'm going to order a set in for my toy soon; so if you want a set let me know ASAP.
Omg, you are the man. I will be in touch about timers and clipons (it's late now and I want to sleep)
