Awesome days racing, meeting went really smooth and bugger all down time. Tyler had a ball, got quicker all weekend, Steveb and the Vic Club scholarship training is bloody great. Tyler has done a draft of his race report, He will post a link when its done I saw you breifly at one stage Dave, Were you Marshalling?
I was slumming it in race control I'm starter for the series. We've had lots of positive feedback and the odd few 'glitches' will all be ironed out. Thanks for the comments about scholarship, I'll pass them on.
Yes, I was there riding my 400 in Post Classic,had a great day,one of those "glitches" was showing us the white flag twice & no chequered flag,but all in all a good day & a learning curve for those who have not run meetings before
To be fair soon as he realised what he'd done, flag guy informed race control and there was a discussion as to best way to rectify. Far as I know, there were no protests. Fred Merkel wasn't too impressed about his lad getting pinged 20 secs for jumping the start He went about 1 1/2 rows when it was still on 4 reds. He wasn't the only one but he was only one not too happy, never put protest in though. Also, I know the issue with grid positions is getting sorted.

Just back from Mansfield. Another corker of a weekend for Tyler, I'm sure he'll be along soon with all the details FANTASTIC Saturday finished early when a Triumph binned it coming out of Dunlop and plonked the contents of it's motor right on the racing line. Took forever to clean up. Pretty lucky today with weather and managed to get all the races in and entertained with a few more offs.
You mean something other than a sidecar dropped oil? I didn't think that was possible, I'm sure we can blame the sidecars anyway
