. For ride details click here So, the deal is: * Plan for a ride (3rd July), * commit to it, and then * attend no matter the weather BFTP promises only 1 ride of this kind a year so get in early to avoid disapointment So far Dodgy, Diggers and Psy are IN so it seems we have a GROUP ride lined up Any other takers? Or dates that would suit better?
Riding round the loop in stormy weather, On a Norton with my wet weather gear Wearing a suit made of leather, Looking out for a pub with some beer.... Everywhere you go you always take the wet weather gear with you... Yep I'm in.
Caseye should be ready to get the XV dirty by then eh?

will try have an operation next week so hopefully recoverd buy then
Will do my absolute best to have the Coal Burner running and Finished by then.Otherwise I'll just have to requisition the wife's 1989 NV 400 Custom ( it qualifies as a BFTP machine) and ride anyhow. Either way count me as in guys, time we rode!
Sunday only for me and Trina
with no alternative times asked for, it seems we can fix the date as Sunday 3 July. i can make the Calendar entry. any suggestions for covered meet place and a cozy ride destination where we can rest and eat?
Hey! who enrolled me? So be it,so long as you don't tell Nick Smith.
You can take the LS Motu, or some part of it. Psyguy- how about the Auckland and north people meet at Howick or East- then head along the coast to Paeroa- meeting up with the Hamilton and upper Waikato crew (who could start out from Hu*tly or Ngarawhahia- then onto Taneatua or Opotiki to meet up with the HB and south crew? It was a loose plan bandied about at the Stratford Run
I think I'm going to get a BSA if I've gotta go that far on the 400!
Sorry Motu, I'll blame it on the computer... let's try again: For Calendar entry click here
Dodgyiti - Psyguy- how about the Auckland and north people meet at Howick or East- then head along the coast to Paeroa- meeting up with the Hamilton and upper Waikato crew (who could start out from Hu*tly or Ngarawhahia- then onto Taneatua or Opotiki to meet up with the HB and south crew? Most of that is Spanish to me so I guess it's all right, lol. How many kms / hrs is that aprox you think? Unless folks more knowledgeable about those roads have other suggestions ?? I say we run with it. DRY / COVERED places to meet at would be good if anyone knows ? You know, "in case" it rains... ha ha
Part of the way any rate. Tis a long way to go without breaking down.
Not entirely sure I'll have the second R90S running reliably by then, with rego & WoF. Consider me a pencil booking at this stage.
